Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect when I come in?

Services are on Sundays at 9:15am and are about 60-minutes long. As per the CDC and NJ state guidelines, masks are not required for folks who are fully vaccinated! We still affirm masking as a great way to keep our neighbors safe.

When you arrive, you will be greeted at our doors by one of our friendly ushers who will welcome you and help you find a good seat. We will also invite you to fill out an “I’m New Here” Card and place it in the offering plate during worship — that will be all we ask from you your first Sunday with us.

Is there Holy Communion offered during your worship service?

Holy Communion served on the first Sunday of each month.

Is there Sunday School offered for children?

Yes. Children leave for Sunday School after the Time with Young Disciples during the worship. During your first visit, you’re welcome to walk your children to the Sunday School to meet our teachers.

What should I wear?

Our church doesn’t have a dress code. Suit or T-shirt, dress or jeans, you are welcome to wear whatever is you.

Is your location close to me?

Our church is located in South Amboy and Sayreville.  Many of our guests come from South Amboy, Sayreville, South River, East Brunswick, Old Bridge, and Matawan.

What happens after service?

Please don’t leave right after worship! On the first Sunday of each month, there is fellowship and coffee hour with plenty of snacks, coffee, and tea following worship.

“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
